Job description

Start: As soon as credentialed
Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Pediatric hospitalist and newborn call coverage
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 6:00–6:00; open dates include 10/30–11/2, 12/10–12/14, 12/24–12/28, and 12/31–1/1
Call: Call only (24-hour beeper call)
Practice Setting: Acute care hospital (inpatient)
Patient Population: Pediatrics and newborns

• Inpatient pediatric and newborn coverage while on call
• Documentation in Epic
• Travel covered

Requirements
• Board Certified, or Board Eligible within 3–5 years of residency (Pediatrics)
• Active California license and DEA required
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Clean file required
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Credentialing: approximately 30–60 days
