Pediatrician, Locums-to-Perm | Clinic + Newborn Nursery | Alma, GA | Mon–Fri, Full Travel Paid

Job description

Start: December 14, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 6 months, locums-to-perm
Coverage: Pediatrics, outpatient clinic and newborn nursery
Schedule: Full time, Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00
Call: 1:3 call coverage
Volume: 20–25 patients per day; about 180 deliveries per year
Practice Setting: Critical access hospital (25 beds) and affiliated clinic
Patient Population: Ages 0–18

• Outpatient pediatrics
• Newborn rounding in a Level I nursery
• Emergency C-section coverage only at OB request (rare)
• Solo pediatrician within a practice of 8 other providers
• Full travel paid

Requirements
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Georgia license (or willing to license)
• DEA required
• BLS and PALS required
• Credentialing: approximately 90–120 days
