Work Details:
• Practice Setting: Home Health and Office
• Avg. Daily Census: administering/seeing 5-8 patients per month. 8 visits being the max.
• Patient Age Group: 65% pediatrics
Schedule: Once the Study starts and the MD admisters the drug on Day 1 , the MD will return on Day 56 and Day 112. The locum would administer the drug and then wait for 3-4 hours to ensure there is no adverse reaction.
• Procedures: This is a case study for the FDA on a specific drug they are testing for patients with Epilepsy. It is in Trial Phase only currently. The physician is required to be on site Day 1, Day 56, and Day 112 to administer the drug. The locum would be traveling to each of the patients. Flying or driving. The goal is to have a locum that can support the Home Health visits and those patients that are near one of their offices. There are only 6 of these. 65% are 18 yrs and younger. The patients are sprinkled around the US. Having multiple licenses and IMLC eligible to obtain more licenses is ideal.
