Permanent Physician - Neonatology in Las Vegas, NV.

Position Details:
Patient Population: Neonatal (Level III NICU)
Setting: Children's Hospital / Level III NICU / Inpatient

Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a 72-bed Level III NICU
Manage critically ill newborns including ECMO, iNO, high-frequency ventilation, total body cooling, and ELBW infants
Collaborate with pediatric subspecialists, intensivists, surgeons, and transport teams
Participate in resident teaching opportunities and shared clinical practice initiatives

Required Procedures:
Neonatal critical care
High-frequency ventilation (jet & oscillator)
Neonatal ECMO
Inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
Total body cooling
Management of extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants

Support Staff:
Pediatric subspecialists
Pediatric intensivists
Pediatric hospitalists
Pediatric ER physicians
Dedicated neonatal transport team
Neonatal nursing and ancillary support

Days Per Month: 15 shifts/month (full-time)
On-Call/Weekends: 12-hour in-house shifts
Weekend coverage included within scheduled shifts

Requirements:
Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Fellowship-trained in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
Nevada License (or willing to obtain)
