Coverage Type: 24-hour call
Schedule: 24-hour shifts (8am–8am)
- In-house: 8am–4pm
- Call: 4pm–8am (beeper)

Work Details

Average patient load: 5–10 patients per 24-hour shift

Overnight volume (8pm–8am): On average, one delivery or admission

Patient population: Pediatric

Trauma Level: II

Skills required: Routine newborn and pediatric privileges including lumbar puncture, emergency neonatal intubation, emergency umbilical line placement, bladder catheterization, and related procedures

Practice Setting

Inpatient

Provider Requirements

Certification: Board certified or board eligible in Pediatrics

License: NH license required

Experience:

Minimum 1+ year of pediatric hospitalist experience

Experience in a Level II NICU

Experience attending deliveries
