This well-established community hospital provides comprehensive healthcare services to the Winchester region and surrounding communities. The facility features a 17-bed pediatric floor and a newborn nursery supporting approximately 2,400 annual deliveries, with strong provider support and access to a robust network of pediatric subspecialists both onsite and via telehealth through partnerships with University of Virginia, INOVA, and Children's National.

Board Certified - Pediatric Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Per diem coverage opportunity beginning November 2026
• Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor and in the newborn nursery supporting approximately 2,400 annual deliveries
• Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5
• Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15
• 24-hour rounding plus call from home/hotel with block scheduling available
• Daytime support provided by Advanced Practice Providers
• Collaborate with onsite NICU services team for continuity of care
• Engage in teaching and interdisciplinary collaboration within a family-centered care model
• Board Certification in Pediatrics required (Board Eligible not accepted)
• Active Virginia medical license required
• Providers must have been clinically active within the past year
• Minimum 6 months of clinical experience within Pediatric Hospitalist specialty required
• CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
• Completed Prescreen Questionnaire required at time of submission
