Pediatrician Needed in Baraboo, WI - Outpatient Clinic + 24-Hour Call | Epic | Nov 2026 Start

Job description

Start: November 22, 2026 (or as soon as credentialed)
Length: 26 weeks (open to extension)
Coverage: Outpatient pediatric clinic plus 24-hour call
Schedule: Clinic 8:30-16:30 Monday, Wednesday, Thursday with 24-hour call those same days; 24-hour call only Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Call runs 7a-7a.
Dates: 2026 backfill - Nov 22-27, Dec 17-22, Dec 28-31. January 2027 ongoing - second two weeks of every month.
Call: 24-hour call for deliveries/C-sections and sick children; on-site presence required only for deliveries/C-sections
Volume: 15-20 patients per day
Practice Setting: Hospital and clinic
Support Staff: 1:1 ratio with a clinical MA, LPN, or RN
Procedures: Standard pediatric clinic procedures including circumcisions; may attend deliveries/C-sections while on call

General outpatient pediatric care within a family medicine department
Newborn and pediatric coverage for deliveries and C-sections during call
Standard in-office pediatric procedures, including circumcisions
Timely documentation in Epic

Requirements
Board Certified in Pediatrics (MD/DO)
Active Wisconsin license required - no licensing assistance available, IMLC/compact not accepted
PALS and NRP required
COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Online EMR modules or pre-employment training must be completed before the first day

Clinic 8:30a-4:30p on scheduled clinic days
24-hour call 7a-7a
Travel billable: airfare, hotel/lodging, rental car, and mileage
