The Illinois Department of Human Services – Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is seeking two Board‑Certified Psychiatrists to join the Clinical Services team at Madden Mental Health Center in Cook County.

These full-time roles offer the opportunity to provide compassionate, high‑impact psychiatric care to individuals in an inpatient setting—while collaborating with an experienced multidisciplinary team focused on healing, dignity, and recovery.

📍 Location: 1200 S 1st Ave, Hines, IL
💼 Job Type: Full-Time
💰 Salary: $18,908–$25,340/month ($226,896–$304,080/year) + Bilingual Pay (Spanish)
🕒 Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:00pm

What You’ll Do:
• Serve as a staff psychiatrist on an inpatient pavilion
• Provide comprehensive psychiatric treatment to your assigned caseload
• Offer clinical direction to direct-care staff
• Provide coverage across multiple pavilions as needed
• Participate in committees, case reviews, audits, and utilization oversight
• Complete involuntary admission certificates and testify in court
• Attend required training and support continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements:
• Illinois Physician & Surgeon License
• American Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish at a colloquial level
