CA – PM&R Locums Opportunity

Job description

Opportunity Highlights:
• Must be able to cover at least 2 weeks per month (May–July)
• Full weekday schedule with home call
• Inpatient acute rehab setting
• Opportunity for urgent start with temp privileges

Schedule:
• Monday–Friday
• 5x8s on site
• Night call from home after shifts

Work Details:
• 13–15 patients per day
• Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital rehab unit
• Responsibilities include admissions, discharges, and daily rounding
• General PM&R case mix (no TBI or spinal cord currently)
• Consult support available (neurology, ortho, pain, internal medicine)
• Preferred procedures include joint injections and spasticity management (Botox, baclofen pumps)
• EMR: (available upon request)

Requirements:
• BC/BE in PM&R
• Active California license required
• CA DEA required
• AHA BLS required
• Minimum 2 years inpatient PM&R experience

Additional Details:
• Credentialing timeframe: ~45 days (urgent temps available for May start)
