Locums Physical Medicine Rehabilitation need in San Francisco, CA- 2 weeks/month

Job description

Position Details
• Assignment Length: May–July (Ongoing)
• Schedule:
○ Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (on-site)
○ Night call: beeper call from home after shift
○ Coverage Requirement: at least 2 weeks/month
• Patient Volume: 13–15 patients/day
• Practice Setting: Inpatient acute care rehab units
• EMR: Epic


Clinical Duties
• Responsible for admissions, rounding, and discharges
• General PM&R patient population (not TBI or spinal cord injury)
• Consult services available (neurology, orthopedics, pain, internal medicine)
• Preferred experience with “bread and butter” PM&R procedures:
○ Joint injections
○ Spasticity management (Botox or intrathecal baclofen pumps)
○ EMG/NCS not required for weekend coverage
