Facility:
This medical center operates a 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit providing specialized rehabilitation services to the surrounding community. The facility features a 24-hour lab, 24-hour anesthesia department, and utilizes Cerner as its documentation and EMR system, with a Level III Trauma designation.

Board Certified - Physiatry (PM&R)

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage needed November 23 - November 27 and November 30 - December 4
• Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm onsite daily; no weekend coverage required
• 100% adult inpatient rehabilitation coverage only; no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• 10-20 patients on the unit per day
• Patients must be seen face to face within 24 hours of admission
• Responsibilities include rounding, consults, and face to face patient care
• Attendance at prescheduled team conferences required (Mondays at 8:30am, Wednesdays at 8:30am, and Fridays at 11:00am)
• Required procedures include Pre-Admission Screening Review and Documentation per CMS Guidelines, Prescribing Narcotics, Discharge Summary/Med Rec, Weekly Care Plan Documentation, Post Admission Evals, Face to Face Visits, IPOCS, and PAPE/H&P
• Active Michigan medical license required at time of submission; IMLC not accepted
• Board Certification required; Board Eligible not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Provider must be local; no exceptions
• Clean background required for quick credentialing; no exceptions
• Documentation system: Cerner
