This facility is a specialized orthopedic hospital with an inpatient rehabilitation unit, offering a focused and supportive environment for patient care. The unit features a 10-bed department with a structured Monday through Friday schedule and no call requirements, providing an excellent work-life balance for providers.

Opportunity:
Physician - Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation coverage seeing 10 patients per day within the orthopedic hospital setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call requirements
• Patient population is adults 18 and older with an average patient age of 70 years old
• Patient mix is approximately 10% Medicaid and 80% Medicare
• Must have demonstrated rehab and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation experience
• No special procedures required for this role
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is required
• Active North Carolina license or IMLC required to be considered
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 90 days
• Interview process includes a phone screen with the clinic administrator, VP of the Neurosciences Institute, and the Clinical Physician Executive
• Will accept multiple providers to cover shifts, up to 2-3 providers maximum
• Locum Tenens engagement with an ASAP start date on an ongoing basis
