Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Opportunity – RI
Start: As soon as credentialed
Duration: 6 months or longer
Credentialing: Approximately 120 days
Licensure: Will consider licensing candidates

Practice Setting:
• 28 bed CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility
• Average length of stay 14 days
• Patients require IRF level of care including close physician monitoring, 24 hour rehab nursing care, and 3 hours of therapy per day, 5 days per week
• EMR: Epic

Work Details:
• Provide high quality, evidence based care on the acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Lead interdisciplinary rounds with PT, OT, SLP, social work, nursing, and case management
• Collaborate with hospitalists, neurologists, surgeons, and referring teams to optimize care transitions

Patient Population Mix:
• Stroke 30 percent
• Brain injury 11 percent
• Spinal cord injury 16 percent
• MMT 10 percent
• Orthopedics 10 percent
• Neurologic 6 percent
• Cardiac and pulmonary 4 percent
• Other 11 percent
• Amputation lower extremity 2 percent

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
