Job Details:

• Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with no call or weekends required
• Partner closely with a reputable plastic surgeon to practice within both ambulatory and OR intraoperative settings
• Ambulatory and outpatient responsibilities include postoperative follow-up appointments and office-based procedures
• Intraoperative first assist responsibilities encompass both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a primary focus on oncology breast reconstruction
• Inpatient rounding may be included on a limited basis
• Must be certified for first assisting in the operating room
• Specialize in adult and pediatric facial cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and cleft lip and palate surgery
• Perform adult body contour surgery including liposuction and breast and abdomen modification
• Provide immediate breast reconstruction following mastectomy
• Conduct facial trauma reconstruction, hand surgery, surgery for prominent ears, facial wrinkle treatments, and advanced laser technology procedures
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program required
• Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
• Plastic surgery and surgical experience highly preferred
• Prior experience as a Physician Assistant highly preferred
