Podiatrist needed near Mashpee MA | 1 shift/month | Any state license (IHS) | Clinic only

Job description

Start: ASAP (allow ~60 days for credentialing/security)
Assignment Length: 6+ months

Schedule:
- One-week initial orientation: Monday-Friday, onsite, 8:00am-4:30pm.
- Ongoing: 1 eight-hour shift per month (8:00am-4:30pm)
- Day is flexible except Wednesdays

Job Details:
- Provide onsite diabetic foot exams and podiatry services
- Perform debridement of nails, calluses, and skin lesions
- Diagnose and treat neuropathy and gait abnormalities
- Prescribe and fit diabetic shoes and inserts
- Provide follow-up care and adjustments as needed
- Maintain documentation in accordance with IHS and federal standards
- Approx 20 patients per day (58 – 60 diabetic patients, each pt seen every 3 months for podiatry exam, debridement, nails, etc.).
