Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Needed in New Jersey

Adults
Correctional Setting
Shift is either 2:30p-11:00p or 3:00p-11:00p Monday through Friday
Provider may be asked to work any of the observed Rutgers holidays (Christmas, New Year's, MLK Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, The day after Thanksgiving)
This position requires the provider to follow the NJ Isolated Confinement Restriction Act.
The provider will visit and evaluate patients daily that are in isolation/confinement and documents their accounts.
The provider will evaluate patients before they are placed in isolation/confinement (as the need arises) and document their accounts.
Other patient evaluations will be required as requested by the DOC, custody and other departments within the correctional facility.
The provider may also be required to assist nursing/medical as needed. Isolated confinement duties will take priority.
The provider may also be required to assist Psychiatrists with regular patient sessions. Isolated confinement duties will take priority.
Experience in a correctional environment is required.
Client stipulates they are seeking candidates open to locum-to-perm, and would like the provider to work 6 months minimum as locum before perm transition.
Estimated credentialing 6-8 weeks
