✅ Qualifications
✔️ Master's degree in Nursing with a Psychiatric Mental Health specialization
✔️ Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
✔️ Board Certification required
✔️ New graduates are welcome to apply
✔️ Experience with psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and treatment planning preferred
✔️ Strong clinical judgment, communication, empathy, and teamwork skills

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments
✔️ Diagnose and manage a wide range of mental health conditions
✔️ Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing pharmacologic and therapeutic interventions
✔️ Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications
✔️ Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and medication management
✔️ Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
✔️ Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
✔️ Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
