Position Overview
Vibrant Emotional Health is seeking 2 to 3 experienced, New York City-based Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join an elite, pre-credentialed "bench pool."
There is no immediate placement. Instead, selected providers will undergo a 2-to-4-week pre-credentialing process. Once credentialed, you will serve as a go-to local resource to provide on-site coverage for short-term needs or sudden leave, with the ability to activate and deploy within 2 to 5 business days.

This is an ideal opportunity for local providers seeking highly flexible, premium-pay part-time hours.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Rate: $120.00 per hour

Travel Support: While hotel accommodations are not provided for local commutes, the client will fully cover car expenses and mileage. Alternatively, a company vehicle can be provided for your shifts if you prefer not to use your personal vehicle.

Schedule and Hours
Availability: Part-time, on-call coverage.
Typical Shift: Shifts are generally 3 days a week, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on short-term organizational needs.

Notice: Advance notice will be provided for longer-term coverage needs or extended medical leaves.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments, medication management, prescription adjustments, and psychiatric crisis evaluations for adults with severe mental illness (such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder).
Provide field-based care by traveling independently from home to home throughout the day to meet patients in their residences.
Work and prescribe with a high degree of clinical independence.

Access and utilize the local office in the Bronx as needed for administrative tasks or coordination.
Document all clinical notes efficiently using the Foothold Technology Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Position Requirements
Certification: Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
Experience: 3 to 5 years of post-licensure experience, with a strong background in treating severe mental illness.

Location: Must be a local New York City-based provider.

Mobility: Comfort and willingness to travel independently between patient homes in the Bronx throughout the workday.

Readiness: Willingness to complete the 2-to-4-week pre-credentialing process to be ready for rapid deployment (within 2 to 5 days of notice).
