This inpatient facility is seeking psychiatric APP coverage to support its adult behavioral health population. The facility maintains clinical protocols and resources to support continuity of inpatient psychiatric care delivery. No call coverage is required as part of this locum tenens assignment.

The area surrounding this assignment is situated along the Fox River, serving as the county seat of Outagamie County and home to Lawrence University. Clinicians on assignment will find a range of cultural and recreational amenities, including the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, Memorial Park, the downtown College Avenue district, and venues hosting live acoustic music. The region experiences cold winters, with January daytime temperatures averaging around 30 degrees Fahrenheit, and warm summers with average highs near 81 degrees Fahrenheit in July.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians in this role will provide full-time inpatient psychiatric services for an adult population, working day shifts Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week on-site. Clinical responsibilities include conducting psychiatric evaluations and providing medication management for acute adult patients within the inpatient unit. A caseload of 8-12 patients per day is anticipated. A valid state NP license, board certification, and prescriptive authority are required for all clinicians considered for this position.
