Overview
The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery seeks board-certified Psychiatrists (Option D) to provide inpatient psychiatric care at Madden Mental Health Center. Responsibilities include managing a patient caseload, directing clinical staff, providing backup coverage, participating in committees, completing involuntary admission certifications, and appearing in court as needed.

Minimum Requirements
• Illinois Physician & Surgeon License
• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Spanish language proficiency
• IL Controlled Substance License & DEA Registration
• Ability to meet medical staff requirements, participate in patient interventions, maintain BLS, and pass background/drug screenings

Preferred Experience
• Psychiatric evaluation and treatment
• Coordinating care across disciplines
• Preparing specialized medical documentation
• Communicating effectively in clinical settings
