Staff Psychiatrist – Adult Outpatient Services

THE PRACTICE
A large public teaching healthcare system providing comprehensive behavioral health services across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and correctional settings. The organization offers a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on serving adult patients within the community mental health system.

The Adult Outpatient Psychiatry team provides psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and continuity of care services for adult patients. Providers work closely with therapists, social workers, nursing staff, and case management teams to support patient stabilization and long-term treatment goals.

Full-time schedule
40 hours per week
Schedule options:
Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
No overnight call requirements
Psychiatric evaluations and medication management
Ongoing follow-up care for established adult patient population
Collaborative multidisciplinary support team
Social worker triage support for lower-acuity cases
Public sector/community mental health setting
EMR experience preferred
Teaching environment with academic affiliation
