IP Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Locum in CA

Job description

Child & Adolescent Psychiatry | Inpatient | Call + Rounding

Coverage: 2 weekends/month + following Monday & Tuesday
Mon/Tues: 8a–5p onsite + night call until 8a
Weekends: ~6 hrs rounding (starting 8a) + 24-hour call until 8a next day
Night call includes admission orders for incoming patients

Practice:

6–12 patients/day
Inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry

Requirements:

BC Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or BC General Psychiatry with completed CAP fellowship
Strong experience in child/adolescent psych, psychopharmacology, family systems, and treatment planning
Comfortable managing challenging behaviors and leading a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication and collaboration with families and care teams
Knowledge of legal, educational, and safeguarding requirements for adolescent patients
