Adolescent Psychiatrist Needed in California
Target Start Date: As soon as credentialed; (approximately 60–90 day credentialing)
Contract Length: Ongoing locums opportunity
Schedule: 2 weekends per month plus the following Monday/Tuesday, with the option for 2 weeks of full-time weekday coverage each month
Call Details: Overnight call Monday/Tuesday and 24-hour weekend call coverage required

Job Details:
Provide inpatient adolescent psychiatry coverage
Monday/Tuesday: 8a–5p onsite with overnight call
Weekends: Morning rounding with call coverage through the following day
Option to provide additional full-time weekday coverage
Admissions, medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and treatment planning
Average patient volume: 6–12 patients per day
Epic EMR
Collaborative multidisciplinary care environment


Requirements:
Board Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatry or Board Certified Psychiatry with completed Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship
Active California License
California DEA required
BLS certification required
Experience managing adolescent psychiatric patients in an inpatient setting
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60–90 days
