A state mental health center is seeking a psychiatrist for locum tenens coverage
About the facility location
The facility is located 1.5 hours from Mt. Vernon, Illinois.
About the clinician's workday
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. They do on-call during the day for all units (Forensic, Civil, and Medium) and it is split between 2-3 psychiatrists on a given day; no night or weekend call. Candidates should be BC or BE. Notes are handwritten or dictated. Credentialing for this assignment takes around 4 weeks or less.
