🩺 Position Overview

Join a collaborative Community Mental Health team providing comprehensive psychiatric care to an adult population in the Detroit area. This opportunity offers schedule flexibility, strong support staff, and the potential for long-term placement.

📅 Schedule & Coverage
Flexible scheduling: 2–5 days per week
Clinic Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Includes a 30-minute lunch break
Initial assignment: 6 months
Option to extend
Preference for providers interested in longer-term coverage
👥 Patient Population
Adult Psychiatry
Community Mental Health setting
Comfortable managing a broad spectrum of psychiatric cases
📊 Clinical Details
Average volume: 12–15 patients per day
Follow-Up Appointments: 15 minutes
New Evaluations: 60 minutes
✅ Provider Requirements
BC/BE Psychiatrist (pending confirmation)
🎓 Collaborative Environment

Ideal candidates will be comfortable:

Collaborating with and overseeing residents
Supervising 1 Nurse Practitioner
Discussing resident collaboration expectations further during the interview process

Strong clinical & administrative support staff
