Psychiatrist Job in Montana – Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Locum (MD/DO)

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist (MD/DO) for a locum opportunity in Montana. This is primarily an outpatient position serving pediatric and adolescent patients.

Primarily outpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry clinic
Patient population: Ages 4–17
Average of 7–10 patients per day
Appointment lengths range from 20–120 minutes based on visit type and provider preference
Flexible scheduling with adequate time for comprehensive evaluations and follow-up care

Providers participate in a shared call rotation that includes:

Telephone availability for psychiatric admissions after patients have been evaluated by Crisis Intervention Services in the emergency department
Weekend call approximately 1 in every 6–7 weeks
Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 8:00 AM
Weekend rounding on new and existing inpatients
