Inpatient Psychiatrist Needed near Edison-New Brunswick Metro, New Jersey
Job description
- Schedule: Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts)
- Call schedule: one weekend per month (typically finishes by 2:00p, and can take phone consults as needed)
- Must be able to evaluate, manage, treat, and discharge patients with complex psychiatric conditions in an inpatient setting.
- Will cover the general adult inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Typically 27 beds split; census: 12-14 patients per day
- Must have NJ license or active IMLC
- Full-time Schedule
- Adult population
- Comfortable working with multidisciplinary team
