Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist | Greenville, SC Metro Area

Community Mental Health | Outpatient + School-Based Care

We are seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a collaborative community mental health program that blends traditional outpatient psychiatry with school-based services. This role offers a structured schedule, meaningful work with children and families, and excellent work–life balance.

Schedule
- Monday–Thursday required
- Optional Friday for the right provider
- Outpatient clinic days: Monday & Thursday
- 7.5-hour outpatient days (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Includes 1-hour lunch
- 1 hour of dedicated admin time

School-based psychiatry:
- Tuesday: Middle & High School
- Wednesday: Elementary School
- Schools are located close to the administrative building

Clinical Details
- Community mental health setting
- Patient population primarily ages 5–18
- Standard clinical psychiatric care
- 12 patients per day
- 30-minute follow-ups
- 1-hour new evaluations
- Students are brought out of class to a private office for psychiatric visits
- Ages 0–4 participate in evidence-based therapy with a psychologist
- Psychiatrist participates in family discussions but does not prescribe for this group
- No benzodiazepine prescribing

Ideal Candidate
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
- Comfortable working in both outpatient and school-based environments
- Collaborative, patient-centered approach
- Passion for serving children, adolescents, and families in the community
