Psychiatrist Needed in Washington

Job description

Start Date: November 30, 2026
Contract Length: Through February 28, 2027
Schedule: Full-time. Approximately 5–7 inpatient shifts/month plus 12–19 outpatient days. Clinic hours are generally Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.

• Adult Behavioral Health coverage across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Average 12–14 patients/day with rounding, admissions, and discharges
• Split days may include inpatient coverage 8:00am–12:00pm followed by outpatient clinic 1:00pm–5:00pm
• Outpatient visits allow 90 minutes for new patients, 60 minutes for transfers, and 30 minutes for follow-ups with dedicated documentation time
• Occasional night call; weekend coverage approximately once per quarter
• Psychiatric hospitalist and experienced NP support available inpatient
• Epic EMR

Washington License Preferred (We can help license you!)

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60–90 days; IMLC with LOQ considered if licensing can be completed in time
