Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Job description

Thrive Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a full- or part- time licensed mental health therapist (LCPC, LCSW-C, LMFT). Licensed Graduate-level counselors (LGPC) encouraged to apply; Maryland BOPC approved supervision available. In-person, telehealth, or hyrbid position available.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
Valid clinical license in Maryland (LCPC, LGPC, LCSW-C)
Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience providing mental health therapy to children, adolescents and/or adults

Responsibilities:
Assessing and diagnosing mental health conditions
Provide culturally competent mental health therapy to individuals/families/groups who are experiencing varying levels of difficulties due to life situations or mental health concerns.
Develop,implement, and review treatment plans
Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Collaboration with colleagues and engagement in biweekly staff meetings
Ensure strict confidentiality with HIPPA standards

Must maintain patient privacy and HIPAA and standards at all times
Familiarity with local community mental health resources preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to build rapport with clients and professionally address concerns
