NOCTURNIST ACNP – PULMONARY/CRITICAL CARE

We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) for a six-month Nocturnist assignment at a Level I Trauma Facility

Start Date: December 7, 2026
Assignment End Date: May 30, 2027
Extension: Option to extend
Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Shift Length: 12 Hours
EMR: Epic

QUALIFICATIONS

✓ Board-Certified ACNP

✓ Minimum of 2 years of recent Pulmonary/Critical Care experience

✓ Active Virginia Medical License preferred

✓ Active Virginia DEA preferred

✓ Willing to consider candidates requiring licensure

REQUIRED PROCEDURES AND SKILLS

✓ Central Venous Catheter Placement

✓ Arterial Line Placement

✓ Thoracentesis

✓ Chest Tube and Pigtail Catheter Insertion

✓ Bedside Ultrasound

✓ Flexible Bronchoscopy

✓ Management of Indwelling Pleural Catheters

✓ Intubation
