Locums Critical Care Provider needed in Charleston, WV

Assignment Details
Specialty: Critical Care (NP/PA)
Start Date: February
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: 7 on / 7 off
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (6a–6p / 6p–6a or 7a–7p / 7p–7a)

Work Details

Coverage need: 1 FTE

Average census: ~15 patients/day

Patient population: Adult

Setting: Hospital-based Critical Care (MICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU)

EMR: Cerner

Procedures: Central and arterial line placement preferred, not required

Required skills: Strong critical care assessment and management experience

Requirements

Board Certified NP or PA

Active license (will license with compact RN)

ACLS, BLS, APRN

Minimum 1 year of critical care experience (MICU experience required; Neuro/CV-only experience not sufficient)

The client is looking for a provider who can fully commit to the schedule and team needs. No time-off requests are allowed during the first 3 months. For future dates, time off should be reasonable and planned around your 7-on/7-off schedule, which naturally provides two weeks off each month.
