Locums Pulmonary Disease & Critical Care Physician Needed

Job description

We are seeking two Board-Certified Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care physicians to join an established inpatient team in AL. This locum tenens opportunity offers a dynamic schedule with clinical hours plus call, supported by a strong team and overnight tele-ICU coverage launching in mid-October.


Assignment Details:

Setting: Inpatient (18-bed department)

Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call

Schedule:

1 APP on service daily supporting both Pulmonary and Critical Care

Internal Medicine residents participate as part of their core rotation

Nocturnist and Tele-ICU available overnight

Patients per Shift: 12–18

Support Team Includes:

Advanced Practice Provider

Internal Medicine Residents

Nocturnist Coverage

Tele-ICU beginning mid-October

Requirements:

Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care

Fellowship Trained

Active Alabama Medical License – Required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 30 Days
