Job description

Pulmonology Critical Care Physician needed in Gadsden, AL.
• Start Date: September 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 9/17/2026-9/21/2026
• Call Requirements: 24 hour beeper call
• Practice Setting: Inpatient
• Patients per day: 6-10 phone consults; 25-30 patients seen
• EMR: Cerner
• Job Details: Cardiac arrest/failure, respiratory arrest/failure, sepsis, metabolic disorders, renal failure, OD/Poisoning, drowning etc. Surgical: Pre- and post-operative general, vascular, orthopedic, neuro, and cardio/thoracic. Ventilation management: Invasive (ETT/NT/Tracheostomy), Non-Invasive (BiPAP/CPAP). Chest tube insertion.

Requirements:
• State License: Active AL license required or IMLC
• Certifications: BLS
• Credentialing: 60-90 days
