Assignment Details

Specialty: Pulmonology/Critical Care
Start Date: December 14, 2026
Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Typically Monday–Sunday or Friday–Sunday rotations
Clinical Hours: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Call: 4:30 p.m.–8:00 a.m. on scheduled workdays
Coverage Needed: Approximately two Monday–Sunday weeks and two Friday–Sunday weekends per month
Current Openings: December 24, with additional dates available
Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per day
Practice Setting: Hospital

Responsibilities

Provide pulmonary and critical care coverage
Manage ICU patients and critical care cases
Perform inpatient consultations and follow-up care
Participate in overnight call coverage while on assignment

Requirements

Board certification or truly board eligible in Pulmonology and/or Critical Care
Active Missouri medical license required; IMLC candidates may be considered, though providers with an active MO license are preferred
DEA required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
New graduates may be considered
