Contract Length: 1 week
Shift Details: 7a – til rounding is finished plus night call
Schedule: 5p May 26 – 7a June 2 (come in during the day on 5/26 to do orientation)

Work Details:
• Support staff: NP, hospitalists, RN, respiratory, nutrition
• Amount of coverage needed per month: NA, just one week of vacation coverage
• Patients per day: 15-18 inpatients; ICU approx. 4-5
• Patient population/age: adult
• Department description: Pulm/CC
• EMR: Meditech
• Hospital bed size: 200
• Special procedures: arterial lines, CVP lines, bronchoscopy, manage vents, toilet bronchoscopy at bedside (no EBUS).

• Additional details: Inpatient rounding from 7a until completed. Hospitalists are involved on most patients. PCPs do admit as well. Locum will attend multidisciplinary rounds from 8:30a-9:30a with nursing, respiratory, nutrition, and pharmacy. NP leaves for outpatient office after that on Monday and Tuesday.

Requirements:
• Board Certification: required or Eligible within 5 years
• State license required: Yes
• DEA: Yes
• CSR: No
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: ACLS, BLS
• Minimum experience required: 1-2 years preferred
Credentialing Timeframe: temps can be issued in 2 weeks; full privs take 60-90 days
