ICU Intensivist — Nights | Level I Trauma | East Tennessee

Job description

This is the assignment for a physician who loves real ICU work.

What you’ll do:
• 12-hour nights (6p–6a), no call
• Direct management of high-acuity trauma, post-op surgical, and complex vented patients
• Procedures: A-line, central line, chest tube, thoracentesis, paracentesis, LP, ventilator management
• Epic EMR
• Average 25 patients/night with APP support; occasional residents/fellows

What you won’t do:
• Clinic
• Call
• Step-down babysitting
