🔹 Additional one-week monthly coverage opportunities may become available
🔹 Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
🔹 Practice Setting: Inpatient
🔹 Employment Type: Locum Tenens (1099)
🔹 Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 15 days

🏥 Site Details & Clinical Scope

🔹 Acute Care Hospital
🔹 Trauma Level III
🔹 EMR: Athena / Medhost
🔹 Support Staff: Yes
🔹 Patients Per Shift: Approximately 15
🔹 Clinical Scope: Management of cardiac arrest/failure, respiratory arrest/failure, sepsis, metabolic disorders, renal failure, overdose/poisoning, drowning, pre- and post-operative care (general, vascular, orthopedic, neurosurgical, cardiothoracic), trauma, burn patients, pulmonary function testing, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
🔹 Procedures: Pulmonary artery catheter insertion, intra-aortic balloon pump insertion, temporary pacemaker placement, ICP evaluation and management, dialysis catheter placement, diagnostic and therapeutic taps

📋 Candidate Requirements

🔹 Board Certification: Required
🔹 Active Texas medical license or IMLC eligibility required
🔹 Fellowship: Required
🔹 Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
🔹 COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
