Locum Pulmonary/Critical Care Physician

Job description

📍 Assignment Details:

Start Date: June 1, 2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks (ongoing potential)
Schedule: 7a–7p, one week per month (Monday–Sunday)
Setting: Hospital-based, inpatient pulmonology
Patient Volume: ~10 patients per day
Support Staff: 5 PA/NPs

🩺 Responsibilities:

Inpatient pulmonology care
Ventilation management (invasive & non-invasive)
Chest tube insertion & thoracentesis

⭐ Preferred Experience:

Bronchoscopy (including biopsy & BAL)
Pulmonary function testing (performance & interpretation)
Pleurodesis, pleural biopsy
Central & arterial line placement
Advanced therapeutic procedures (foreign body extraction, stents, laser)

✅ Requirements:

Board Certified in Pulmonary/Critical Care
Active WA license or IMLC
ACLS certification

• One week per month
• WA License or IMLC
