🔍 Job Summary
Cone Health is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our night shift team. In this role, you’ll assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, operate advanced medical equipment, and collaborate with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. This is a high-impact position offering both inpatient and outpatient experience—without the burden of on-call shifts.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities
Administer prescribed respiratory therapy and monitor patient responses
Operate ventilators, aerosol generators, and other respiratory equipment
Conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests
Provide emergency respiratory care and patient education
Collaborate on discharge planning and home care programs
✅ Qualifications
Education: High school diploma + accredited RT program
Experience: 3+ years in acute care or equivalent clinical rotations
Certifications:
RRT (or obtain within 6 months)
NC Respiratory Care License (CRT or RRT)
BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or Red Cross)
