Pulmonary opportunity available in Alaska
Start Date: November 1, 2026
Assignment Length: 6 months
Schedule: 0.25 FTE; Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Additional Details:
Initially, coverage will be one week per month, then spacing out to one week every other month or quarterly
Outpatient clinic setting
No call, rounding, admissions, or procedures required
Approximately 14–16 patients per day
Adult and geriatric patient population
Provider will work independently
Family Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Pediatrics providers available Monday–Friday
Hospitalist and Emergency Department physicians available 24/7
EMR: EPIC; proficient user required
Gap coverage need
Licensure: Open to licensing; IMLC accepted. Candidates with a strong track record of positive site feedback and prompt completion of licensing and credentialing requirements are preferred.
Requirements: MD/DO with documentation of cardiovascular disease services representative of the requested privileges during the past 24 months; waived for applicants who completed training within the previous year
Certifications: BLS required
