Locum- Physician - Pulmonology Needed in Ketchikan, AK

PULMONARY MEDICINE – LOCUM TENENS

Start Date: November 1, 2026
Assignment: 6 months
FTE: 0.25
Setting: Outpatient Clinic

SCHEDULE
✓ 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
✓ Initial coverage: 1 week per month
✓ Schedule will then transition to approximately 1 week every other month or quarterly
✓ No call
✓ No rounding or admissions
✓ Provider will work independently

PATIENT POPULATION
✓ Adult and geriatric patients
✓ Approximately 14–16 patients per day
✓ No required procedures

REQUIREMENTS
✓ MD/DO – Pulmonary Medicine
✓ BLS required (AHA or American Red Cross)
✓ EPIC experience – proficient user
✓ Documentation of relevant cardiovascular disease services/case activity within the past 24 months
✓ Case-log requirement may be waived for providers who completed training within the previous year
✓ AK license and/or IMLC strongly preferred
✓ Open to providers who are willing to obtain licensure

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
✓ Outpatient-only practice
✓ Support available from Family Medicine, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and OB/GYN Monday–Friday
✓ 24/7 Hospitalist and Emergency Department physician coverage
