TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking a Locum Tenens MD/DO Pulmonologist for a correctional medicine opportunity in Ayer, Massachusetts. This role offers a structured outpatient clinical environment with flexible scheduling and ongoing monthly coverage potential.

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage pulmonary conditions within an adult correctional medicine population
Diagnose and treat conditions including COPD, asthma, chronic bronchitis, sleep-related breathing disorders, and other respiratory illnesses
Review diagnostic imaging, pulmonary function testing, and laboratory results
Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing pulmonary management recommendations
Coordinate specialty referrals and advanced pulmonary care when appropriate
Provide follow-up evaluations and patient education
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements
MD or DO required
Active Massachusetts medical license required/preferred based on facility requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology preferred
Prior pulmonology experience preferred
Ability to work independently in a correctional medicine environment
