TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonologist for a part-time locum tenens opportunity providing pulmonary care services at a correctional center in Butner, North Carolina. This position offers a flexible schedule and focuses on evaluation, treatment, and ongoing management of pulmonary conditions in a supportive clinical environment.

Position Details

Schedule: Up to one 8-hour day per month
Additional shifts/hours may be available monthly
Once onboarded, the provider will collaborate with the Scheduler by submitting their availability on an ongoing basis. Scheduling is a coordinated effort between the provider, the Onsite team, and the agency to ensure appropriate coverage and alignment with clinic needs.

Clinical Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage pulmonary conditions
Interpret diagnostic testing and imaging related to pulmonary care
Develop and manage treatment plans
Provide follow-up pulmonary care in a correctional healthcare setting
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements
MD or DO required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonology
Active North Carolina medical license required
Prior pulmonary medicine experience preferred
Ability to independently manage pulmonary patients in an outpatient setting
