Pulmonary MD Needed in Norton, VA

Pulmonary MD – Norton, VA

* Start: November 2026

* Duration: 13 weeks

* Coverage: Approximately 1 week per month

* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–6 PM (10-hour shifts)

* Call: None

* Department: Black Lung Clinic

* Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients/day

* Up to 6 critical care rounding patients

* Average of 4 Black Lung Clinic patients

* Patient Population: Adults/Coal Miners

* EMR: Epic

* Support Staff: Respiratory Therapists

Responsibilities/Procedures:

* Possible arterial line (A-line) insertions

* EKG and PFT interpretation

Requirements:

* Board Certified in Pulmonary Medicine

* Active Virginia license required

* Flu vaccination required

* Clean background

* No pending or settled malpractice claims

* No CSR or DEA required

* No additional certifications specified

Credentialing: Approximately 30–60 days. Active Virginia license required; licensing assistance is not available.
