Job Title: Pulmonology Physician – Locum Tenens
Location: Madison, WV
Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Day shifts)
On-Call Requirements: Optional call only (no after-hours required)
Board Certification Required: Yes – Pulmonology (Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years of fellowship)
Setting: Acute Care Hospital with Outpatient Clinic (Critical Access)
Patient Population: All Ages (Infants through Geriatrics)
EMR: Not specified
Support Staff: Internal Medicine PA, administrative staff, and nursing staff
Procedures Include:
Outpatient pulmonary clinic visits
Inpatient pulmonary consults
ICU coverage and ventilator management
Bronchoscopy and EBUS
Thoracentesis
Chest tube placement (preferred)
Sleep Medicine evaluation and management (required subspecialty experience)
Pulmonary function test (PFT) interpretation
Use of onsite lab, X-ray, sleep lab, and ultrasound
Limited rounding and phone consults in a rural critical access setting
