Early Breast Cancer May Not Benefit From Intense Chemo

Tailored dose-dense chemotherapy may not actually improve the effectiveness of high-risk early breast cancer in women as previously thought, according to a new European study published in a recent issue in the JAMA. However, some U.S. breast cancer experts still think there are other important benefits of dose-dense therapy, including the time saved for women receiving treatment, and that it could still be effective for triple-negative breast cancer patients.

Which presidential nominee do you think will offer the best healthcare plan during the next presidency?

Last week Donald Trump won the presidential election, with campaign promises to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.  We asked you in our last newsletters who you thought had the better healthcare plan among the presidential candidates. Almost half of respondents liked Hillary Clinton’s healthcare plan, while only 35 percent liked Donald Trump’s alternative. Approximately two percent chose “other” and 15 percent chose “neither.”
