Opportunity:
Board Certified - Medical Physicist, Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
- Experienced Therapeutic Medical Physicist needed for Radiation Therapy in an outpatient setting covering multiple facilities
- Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Average of 60-70 patients per day across 3 locations, primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient cases for simulation and treatment
- Perform chart checks including initial and weekly reviews
- Conduct machine quality assurance (QA)
- Perform HDR treatment planning and treatment operation
- Provide SBRT treatment supervision
- Documentation System/EMR: Aria
- Board Certification required: ABR/ABMP
- Active Michigan medical license required - no exceptions
- Minimum of 3 years of experience required
- Clean background with no malpractice or license issues required
- Local providers only - only mileage will be reimbursed
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 30 days for NRC/State RAM licenses
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
