Radiation Oncology Physician Locums

Job description

This is a flexible, 4-day-per-week opportunity with strong clinical support and a collaborative oncology team.

📍 Practice Highlights

Schedule: 8-hour days, 4 days per week

Patient Volume: Fluctuating between 5–10 patients per day

Technology: 100% of treatments delivered on Varian TrueBeam

Advanced Capabilities:

SRS

SBRT

HyperArc

Case Mix: Approximately 90% osteoarthritis cases

EMR: TBD

You will be supported by a strong, experienced team including:

Radiation Oncology RN

2 Primary Radiation Therapists

Hybrid Physics & Dosimetry Support

Oncology Social Worker

Administrative support for department management and flow

The department is structured for efficiency and collaborative care, allowing you to focus on patient treatment while supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team.

✅ Requirements

Board Certified in Radiation Oncology

Active VA license

• 4 days a week
• No Call
• SRS,SBRT and hyperarc. 90% of the current volume are osteoarthritis cases.
