Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Vascular Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services throughout the Omaha region. This position offers the opportunity to work independently while delivering high-quality vascular ultrasound exams in nursing homes, home care facilities, correctional centers, and other healthcare settings.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working autonomously with portable ultrasound equipment.

Schedule

* Monday–Friday
* 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
* 40 hours per week
* On-call required
* Weekend coverage as needed (overtime eligible)

Responsibilities

* Perform vascular ultrasound examinations at bedside and facility locations
* Verify patient identity and physician orders
* Capture diagnostic-quality images using portable ultrasound equipment
* Transmit studies electronically for interpretation
* Maintain accurate documentation and billing records
* Respond to dispatch communications and manage daily caseload
* Maintain company vehicle and equipment

Requirements

Required

* Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
* ARDMS or CCI Registered Sonographer credential
* RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) or RVS (Registered Vascular Specialist) credential
* Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
* COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
* Basic computer and smartphone proficiency

Physical Requirements

* Ability to lift 18–20 pounds of equipment
* Ability to transport mobile ultrasound equipment between locations
